Dont Ever Trust a Mirror

You can't trust a mirror,
For a mirror always lies.
It makes you think that all you're worth,
Is outside not inside.

You can't trust a mirror,
It only shows you what's skin deep.
You've never seen how your eyelids flutter,
When your falling fast asleep.

It doesn't show you what the world sees,
When you're only being you.
Or how you eyes light up,
When your loving what you do.

They don't capture when you're smiling,
Where no-one else can see.
And your reflection cannot tell you,
Everything you mean to me.

You don't know how your nose crinkles,
When your laughing really hard.
Or when your eyes sparkle,
When the night is fully starred.

Your so much more beautiful,
Then what a mirror provides.
You can't trust a mirror,
For a mirror always lies.
