Don’t Go Away

His life came to an end
He was only thirty-eight
And their hearts were left to mend
He met an awful fate

A traumatic sight for my dad
He was gasping for air
My dad was very sad
He was left in despair

He left us in the dark
We all wondered why
He made a lasting mark
Why did you have to die?

Why did you have to go away?
Please stay for even one more day
