Don’t Speak

Don't speak, I'm not blind
Don't try to explain yourself, and try to be kind
I can see with my own eyes, the two of you in my bed
There's a lump in my throat and a pounding in my head
Don't speak, there's nothing you can say
Don't try to stop me, just let me run away
Just pack my clothes and send them later, through a friend
I thought you wanted a new beginning, but to me this is the end
Don't speak, my tears are rising, let me keep my pride
It was only six months ago, I became your blushing bride.
