Don't Stop Believe Inn

At this point in history we arrive.
“Are we there yet?”
We sigh.
This can’t be the place...
The disappointment our faces hide.
We don’t even want to see inside.
The walls are dilapidated,
Covered with whitewashed lies.
I heard there’s a pool in the back
...too shallow to dive.
This isn’t what we signed up for,
but it was at least worth the drive.
Thank you for staying at the Don’t Stop Believe Inn.
What a journey.
What a time to be alive.
