Don’t Wash the Coffee Pot

Don't bleach the bathtub.
Don't vacuum while I'm sleeping.
Where did you put my things?
Why do you move them somewhere else?
Is not the place I left them good?
You see, when you move them, they're no longer there,
And I don't know where they are.
And I don't want to wake you up to find them.
Don't you see?

I know you're cleaning up,
But as you move things and clean,
I get scrubbed away as well.
Please leave my dirty little messes,
And I'll repay you with love.
