Don’t Waste Time

Fog rolls in over the turquoise waters
While oceans rise and fall in a rhythm so real and yet magical
Like the sounds of a heartbeat in tune with the gravity of earth
As the sun peaks through the mist and creates a sensation of delight
I wonder what this life here is really like
A universe of wonders twirling around in space
A minuscule object of being with no guidance or face
Creation and thought occupy my delirious mind
In the end hoping that God will be kind
To allow me the pleasure of roaming in fantasy
And delighting my senses with untold ecstasy
During daily flights of untold passion
Longing to be in a connection of time
Hear me you all who are so divine
This life is short so don't waste time
