Double Impact

The sweet summer sun, always shines in my world, my entire world revolves around 2 little girls. It's the same light that blinds me, when there's no dark to see, and those two little girls, feel the same about me. Call it what you want, label it what you can, but you can't grasp these feelings with a paper and pen. For the more that I see them, and watching them grow, I can't wait to see what they'll reap from my sow! And it scares me to no end, that they won't understand, that the only one good enough, is their dearest old man.

Now I know I must trust them, and that goes both ways. We will make it together through our toughest of days. The bond that we're forging is the one that will shield, the investment I give them is one that will yield. And when I'm old and I'm grey sifting through my final sands, they'll have what it takes using their own 2 hands. See, these 2 little girls mean more than this earth, and they took over mine on the day of their birth!
