Drawn Out: Waiting for Nothing

You waited for your Prince Charming
You pined away at a rate, which was alarming
You waited, Time slipped away from you
And you wonder why you feel so blue?

In your parlor you paced about during your waking hours
Your bed is covered in many flowers
When you sleep you dream of the past
Sometimes you wish that Death would arrive fast.

I couldn't budge you or snap you out of that spell
To only imagine the life that's become your private Hell
I walk away to never look back again
As your life ends, mine shall begin.
