Dreading Demise.
Pure bliss mistaken,
euphoria is seized,
doldrums occurring.
euphoria is seized,
doldrums occurring.

This poem was to elucidate the fear of one\'s own death. \"Pure bliss mistaken\" indicates the clinician\'s thoughts from looking at the patient\'s face (when the clinician walked in) before they told them that they were going to die. After the patient finds out, the line \"euphoria is seized\" comes into play. Overtime, the patient would go into a state of inactivity, hence why \"doldrums occurring\" is in this haiku.
