Dream-a-little-Dream of Me

As I lay on my pillow
I step onto my galleon
with the stars beneath
and the sun as my wreath.

On an uncharted sea we sail
of joy, hope and a silent plea
as deep slumber overcame my senses
I surrendered to this mystical world

Swirl and twirl as I walk up to my throne
wrapped in a cloak made of
a myriad of dreams searching
for what was forever lost

The ubiquitous cell I find
with a text as a post on a small screen
'I love you, always have and always will', he boasts

Dream-a-little dream of me,
so that as a cure for my pain
I may find you again!
