Dream of My Demise

I dream of my demise.
I wonder how I end.
I know it comes as no surprise,
Yet I don't know who it'll offend.
Do I drown?
Do I freeze?
Do I jump off a cliff
Because I've been teased?
Do I starve?
Do I turn my neck red
From my blood of woe and rue?
Do I shoot myself in the head?
Yes, it's all too good to be true.
My life has been one big lie.
My thoughts grow dark, and I know
My one last wish is to die,
My last emotions numbed and low.
I dream of my demise.
I want it all to end.
And as it comes as no surprise,
I don't care who it'll offend.
