Yaffa Slurzberg
They called her a dreamer
The girl over there
Her eyes only focused
On what seemed thin air
But dreaming she did
Of a life not her own
But one full of adventure
In a land far from home
These walls and these windows
She wished she could flee
To follow her dream
Her dream to be free
Free to explore a place so unknown
Could she really escape and last on her own
They called her a dreamer
Cause that’s what she was
It was only a dream
It was only a buzz
Of imaginary people and stories and hope
To some day escape
It was her way to cope
With her life stuck behind these 4 windows and walls
It was only a dream
She woke up from it all.
