Dreamers

In my dreams the skies aren't blue,
the trees are still,
and the children don't smile.

The summers aren't warm,
the days are dreary,
and songs don't play.

The fruits aren't sweet,
the oceans are still,
and the birds don't fly.

My dreams aren't dreams,
they are nightmares,
and you don't escape.
