Dreams

Dreams.
Cloudy and Clear,
Can unfocus the focused.
Visions; a valued fear.
Sleep through the night,
To see worlds unknown.
Find treasures to hide,
Climb trees that haven't yet grown.
Fly in the sky,
Evade gravity,
Battle the beats
Filled with bloody insanity.
Swim with the sharks,
Unimaginable depths,
Teeth ripping, arms splashing
When will I find rest?
Fumble through the night.
It can't be real.
Do dreams try to expose
How we truly feel?
My indescribable solitary moments,
WIshing words could share.
Imagine a place beyond
What eyes can bare.
I see angels and demons
A natural dichotomy
Of light versus dark
A friendly foe to me.
