Dreams

The wind whispered soft melodies into the jewelled sky
The moon shed a ribbon of light
Sailing into the horizon
Ghosts of galleons and sights of submarines
Drift within the night
The dancing trees waved their arms in the gentle breeze
Hooting owls and scuttling foxes
Scarped into the dusk
The birthstone-blue stars mark a beacon of hope
For the lost hearts in the world
The ebony sky is a black curtain
Draping over the world
Majestic figures dance within the darkness
Happiness is omnipresent
Hundreds of elegant pictures form in the twilight
Images twirl in your mind
Illusions flicker upon the stars
Fantasies turns into imaginations
Fluttering in your brain
Then it ends
The dancing trees and hooting owls
Gleaming stars and majestic figures
Vanish out of the distinct sky
Until you figure…
It was just a dream
