Dreams Survived

shattered the shards
of candy coated glass
broken by the evolution of time
Digging deeper inside
my fleshed dream
who knew i could, i would
survive
Into this realm your smile came
healed the wounds
of mine jagged pasts remain
Easing the pain
with your touch
a silent glare
encouraged my present scheme
Lifted my fog from
tomorrows changing view
cut the inspired world subdued
The creation once
bound to abstain
and found the sun
that would be my muse
Somewhere b'tween
pleasure and pain
my dream once survived
The breath
borrowed from you
i knew it would somehow
BE
