Drinking

The thirsty earth soaks up the rain,
It drinks and gapes for drink again.
The plants drink from the earth's share,
Always ready for another, "cheer".
The sea itself drinks the rivers up,
So filled, that overflows its cup.
The fiery sun drinks up the sea,
Not just once but everyday indeed.
Arrives the night, now comes their turn,
Moon and stars drink up the sun.
Its a part of survival game,
Nature too has revealed the same.
Fill your bowls and fill them high,
Fill your glasses, for more, don't deny.
Greed never leads to contention.
And then....
Out of this vicious cycle is borne corruption.
