Drops of water

The alarm struck twelve
And Andrew did woke up
He looked for the jug
Poured water in the mug
Oops! It didn't come
For it was empty
No more showers now, long ago
That time did go
Dressed he, as he could
In smelly clothes moved he
Into the Garden with stillness
Which was now a Wilderness
Cactus and Cactus all around
Too hot the day was - 'as usual'
Reluctant to face the cruel
Turns he, but it was real
Where have those days gone?
They still are but 'it' isn't
''Save water or else die''-
A hoarding catches his eye
But he caught it too late
A drop did fell,
It was the only source left, the eye
And what he did was just a sigh!
