Drowning

Bubbles rush as I frantically look around
My hands flailing, my feet kicking
My fear rising, my body sinking
I reach for something, but nothing is there

I cry but you wouldn't be able to tell
As the tears mix with the water
Inseperable, by try of man
I cry, but no one can here

I calm myself, and brace for the next
And feel the surroundings
I want to get out, but I can't
I feel for something, but nothing is there

As the lights begin to fade,
and my eyes begin to close
the bubbles lessen, until I see no more
I pray for a beat, but nothing is there
