Drunken Man

That's when he left me
A little girl
Lonely and scared
My mother, two kids, and no place to go
A drunken man she fell in love with
A step father
That little girl then finally had hope in the world
A dad that she could have
Eight years
Thats how long it took
A drunken man once was a father
Back to the mother crawling and bawling
No matter the time no change was made
Still there were whiskey bottles
There were still screams
Tears with some added fears
