As I set here and look out the window
I can’t help but to think
How much I would like to go
To the bar and have a drink
It’s that place where people spill
After a few beers how they really feel
As I ponder setting at the bar
Listening to Willie and Waylon
Sing and strum there guitars
While drinking a cold beer and,
Watching NASCAR
It’s hard not to go to the bar
While thinking of all those pretty girls
Out on the dance floor
Makes me want to go even more
But then I think how easy I could get sick
Drinking alcohol with strangers
While expressing my wit
Then I realize all the ones I love
Could get sick too
All because I went to the bar and,
Had a a cold brew
So, I’m canceling Uber and,
Hiding the keys to may car
Staying home and,
Practicing social distancing from afar.
