Dusk and Dawn, Nature’s Calling

An eye is there in the cork and inner bark,
origins from an axis of seed leaves and stem.
While blinking, the radicle digs deeper into loam.
Nature's beauty is an impulse of wind and wave,
hidden in the water and minerals absorbed by us and trees.
It's iamb is the fungi carried by sapwood and
heartwood to the veins of leaves.
