Earth Is My Stage

I dance across the world.
Earth is my stage.

I stride across its expanse
in the bold tango of winter.
Locked in my embrace,
people are stunned by my freezing strength.

As if wearing delicate ballet shoes,
I gently melt my audience free of cold.
Tiptoeing into spring, flowers wave at my light touch.

When I salsa my way across the Earth,
summer decorates my stage.
I add hot flares to my choreography
and wrap myself around my warm audience.

A rythmic waltz sweeps leaves from trees.
My crisp, flowing movements
bring shivers to those who step out with me.

I dance across the world.
Earth is my stage;
I am the wind
that dances over it.
