Einstein’s Pathetic Falllacy

Albert stares out his window, curious
Watching the trees go bare, deciduous
Working on his Unification Theory, assiduous
Checking every last detail, meticulous

He senses something wrong, insidious
Ruining his whole Theory, pernicious
He curses, sacrilegious!
And flips God the Digitus Impudicus

Albert retreats to his study, now penitent
Fearing he's offended the Deity, omnipotent
He resurrects his dead Theory, inexpedient
Never to discover the Fatal Ingredient
