Elusive Enslavement

Everyday, my mind is a slave.
Concrete, grey and freshly paved.
the glamour and glory, that I once craved,
now clouds your vision, but i was saved.

Sweet- toxic taste lingers my lips.
Tickles my taste buds, my mind slips.
My body sways in cursive,
curving, at your demand.
Captivated by the act of an intertwining hand.

You're my poison, you're my pleasure,
with ties that I cannot sever.

Im held captive by my savior,
misinterpreted misbehavior.

You're my day and my night.
You're my peace and my fight.
Everyday my mind is a slave,
It is only you that i can save.
