Let's be this thing
This wonderful thing called time
Pass on by without paying much attention why
Grow young and old
Grow up and sideways
Let's be space as well
Ocupy every inch
Not giving anyone a hint
Of our frail conception
Let's stretch the lines and meet in the middle
And bend as much as we like but never break
Cause we are a rule my dear
And physics is the only thing holding us together
But the laws of attraction don't apply i suppose
The closer we get the further i feel
And by now we are galaxies away
But humans can't travel at the speed of light still
Still i sit and look at the light you left years ago

So let's be time and space my love
At least in theory
We are bound to each other
And i feel deeply inside
That if we break
The whole universe falls apart
