Emerald Dream

I rest here, in these vivid fields.
Embracing gods grace as Luminous light showers upon me.
O God, this love I feel, is it yours?
It seems eternal, yet it will fade as any love shall.

As we lay beneath this vividly green tree , I become weak and my heart begins to leak.
Can you see?
It seems like you and I were always meant to be.
But will your lovely gaze fade - like this lovely breeze deceased?

But you shall not fade, let your winds strive for eternity.
O God, let your grace be mine, until the end of all time.

Now hollow shadows reign.
You have began to fade.
Warmth has perished.
Light has dissolved.

Indeed, now it seems clear.
We all shall fade.
The last glimpse of us shall suffocate as our eyes shut.

Surrounding me now, nothing but darkness.
And I ask myself, does this darkness have a name?

Dear God, is it your name?
