Emotion like a thief in the night can surprise,
As it reveals whats really inside.
Emotion Birthed by past experiences, trials, or victories,
And powered by future expectations, fears, and insecurities.
Emotion rules over us from inside or out,
Some stay even keel others will just pout.
Some wear their heart on their sleeve,
You can tell how they feel by the way that they breathe,
and you'll know how they feel until they decide to leave,
any rough time and you know that they grieve.
Others will keep their emotions bottled inside,
They'll take off the cap and pour them out when they cry,
Or be shaken up and explode in due time,
But until then no one is allowed inside.
Using all logic and no heart, maybe there is no such thing,
Maybe logic is part of what our hearts bring.
