Empowering next generation
In twilight's glow, where shadows dance,
A tale unfolds of circumstance,
"Child is the next generation," we proclaim,
But ponder this question: who's to blame?
Street children wander, with eyes so old,
Their youthful spirits, once so bold,
Why are they left to face life's strife,
Unseen, uncared for, in this bitter life?
Oh, youth untamed, their dreams untold,
Unleash their might, let them unfold,
Why are they denied the power to rise,
To reach the stars, where greatness lies?
O businessman, with wealth untold,
Why not bestow knowledge, worth more than gold?
Orientation to your children, a noble plea,
To shape their minds, set their spirits free.
Why not, like the herbalist's tender touch,
Introduce skills early, a gift that means so much?
Like the blacksmith's craft, a fire's embrace,
Let your child's talents bloom, leave no trace.
And grandmother dear, with gentle hand,
Sewing with grandchild, a love so grand,
Unleash the wisdom, the skill to sow,
Leather and calabash, a journey to bestow.
For in each child, a world untamed,
A tapestry woven, yet to be named,
Let us nurture their spirits, ignite their fire,
For they are the future, our one desire.
No more shall we ponder, in silence remain,
As the child's potential, we must sustain,
Through love and guidance, let them thrive,
With wings unfurled, they will surely strive.
So, let us embrace these lessons true,
Question the reasons, and take anew,
For the child is the next generation's song,
Let harmony guide them, as they belong.
Summary..
Neglected youth, a solemn plight,
Why deny their power and light?
Orient your child, ignite their fire,
Empower them to rise higher.
