Emptiness and Despair

By Da Poet

A hollow heart with a void to fill, drained by heartless actions, and empty words which kill. How I dread this emotion sled as it leaves me bleeding, numb, left for dead.

The pain, the pressure, nearly lost my will, yearning for the agony to stop, took several pills. A tongue can be a weapon disguised by a smile, with slings, and arrows attached it may hurt for a while?

So beware, take care put Homeland Security in place, guard your heart like Fort Knox, for a fox lay in wait. Take a little, give a little, but not the whole ball of wax, this has been my experience, I'm just stating the facts.
