Empty Room

Waiting for the moment in an empty room
When the world will come through the gate
Like a 10 month old child leaving the womb
I’d only be introduced a little bit late

Waiting for the moment in an empty room
When a brown-eyed girl will come to me
I’d tell her that she’s the only one I see
She would mistake this for poetry

Her smile would begin to shake eventually
Water would come out and I wouldn't know
I’d tell her that I’m sorry for being empty
She would leave and my room would grow

Waiting in an empty room in vain
For the moment when I’ll never be lonely again
