Empty Spaces

Filled to overflowing,
That's what I used to think
No room for love,
I normally filled it with drink

Then you stepped in,
Filled this hole of mine
Like you were meant to be there,
And to me, that was just fine

That empty space,
How it used to be so big
But you were looking to fill it,
And you dug, filled it up, you did

That empty space,
It seemed so long ago
When you stepped in to fill it
And I'll never let you go

Empty spaces.
Don't let them stay empty too long
When someone fills it up with love,
You never can go wrong
