Emulsion


I am not the pillar those around me believe me to be
I am but the oil that calms the waters
Always there, floating just above the surface
Observing
A part of, yet apart from
Most see strength in this
They do not see the oil pulling apart from itself
Tiny beads floating
Achieving their end, but never coming together to form the whole
But soon...
