Endless Love

She held me tight when I opened my eyes,
Cuddling me nicely despite infant cries,
Her angelic face was a sight to behold,
Her tender touch meant much more than gold.

Life hit me hard more than once,
The struggle went on for so many months,
Her words of wisdom kept me going,
I spread my wings and continued flying.

Her face a source of courage today,
Hands took care of me everyday,
Feet which walked miles for me,
Soul so pure that set me free.

A pillar of strength in my darkest times,
A ray of hope that always shines,
She is my mother to whom I bow,
To love her forever is my strongest vow.
