Endless War

Like soldiers, the whitecapped army marches on.
Pushing back the sand battalion
The general moon commands its frothy fighters
To advance in a relentless campaign,
Waging since the dawn of time
Mother Earth fights back
Each grain of sand a barrier to the ocean's on slot
Blasting each crashing wave into oblivion
Only to have another wave pick up the charge
The battle rages. no winner declared
Mankind watches in awe
A beautiful battle
