Engraved in my heart

By

Butterflies danced in an open field, but the pain I had it would not yield.
He took my hand and showed me how, to smile again – somehow.
The Love It came flowing in.
The past closed, you let the future begin.
Strong and able, proud and sure.
Magnetic connection, unrelenting Allure.
Together forever, though miles apart.
You reached for my hand, but you captured my heart.
We were in unstoppable force, a tornado with a Plotted course.
And yes it ended, but the story remains.
We found true love, suffer the pain.
We Grew tired and we drift apart, but your name is forever engraved in my heart.
