Enjoy the Ride

She was bleeding ink
What did you do for a living?
Her shadow was an inkblot
From the pen, her mind blossomed
She couldn’t run from the shadow
But she could invite it to dance
It always said yes when her shadow was asked,
“To dance or not to dance?”
The dreamiest adventures would be the prize
So she started to dry the tears from her eyes
She enjoyed the ride
She sat back and relaxed
Like her soul was on a rollercoaster
Going so fast, so fast, so fast
The only way she could slow down,
Was to think about all the beauty in the World
Looking up at the clouds
The sky made her laugh
How beautiful it was to be alive
How much she could just fall in love with life
She wrote it all down
In her journal everyday, she was writing beautiful love letters to the World
I love you, I love you, I love you
She couldn’t say it anymore
Than she already did
In her journals everyday
