ENOUGH OF THIS SHIT – TIME FOR CHANGE

By

You see what I see
Most the days of my life ?
The privileged live free,
While Blacks live with strife.

We supply; we build;
We produce joy for this place.
In return, we receive
Less equality, less grace.

For many years we're told, "Turn the other cheek."
When we travel this path, Whites think we are weak.
This system is rotten to its very foundation.
It's past time to re-create this sad nation.

When I protest my insufferable pain,
When I display I, too,am strong,
Opulence sets out to discredit my brain;
And try to convince me most certainly, I'm wrong.

It's time to stop nice, as I have no choice.
I'll protest; I'll write so you'll know my voice.
I'm no proponent of brutality,
But, I'll die tp protect my equality.
