Enoughs enough

We were talking the other day
How things were going our way
Now you're gone, taken by the gun
Of the lonely one.

Your life shone brighter than the sun
Face so rare, you were the one
Now you're gone, taken by the gun
Of the lonely one

Plenty marching, plenty talking
Some wish we were retreating
Life is fleeting, so many gone, will it end
Enoughs enough

Dancing in the park, long walks after dark
Dreams come true, because I met you,
Holding hands at football games,
Never again will you call my name

Darkness fell, feel the smell, kneel and hide
The day you died, no control on this ride
And now your gone, taken by the gun
Of the lonely one

Plenty marching, plenty talking
Some wish we were retreating
Life is fleeting, so many gone, will it end
Enoughs enough
