Ephemeral Beauty

When a beautiful moment manifests itself I relish in it,
taking refuge in its arcane corners and creases.
Like all aesthetic pleasures, its ephemeral function takes tow;
The jewels of life are once again taken from me.
I become a beggar,
Pathetic and hoarding any sweet nectar of remembrance.
