Eternity

The curtains raise yet again, blue mystical expanse
Nacre stars play the soprano bringing in moments
Of a few million years, a continual beginning
Beyond the Nostradamus predicted end
We meet within the crystal ball
Nameless, faceless, ageless
Yet in love, hitherto in sync with the universe
One such life I danced to the promises you made
The secrets you whispered, ciphered
Another space we swam along the river bed
Where you picked up a lotus and let me feel
The petals haven’t dried still, despite the lifetimes
The droplets fresh still float on the green velvet
Radiantly boomeranging the aureate rays
To the land from where we came
Where you build palaces in my name,
Monuments and mummies observing glorified absence
A pair of hands guiding us back home before dusk
To meet again in a land of promises
To part again in a cycle, karmic
The music plays on from a celebration to a requiem
Spiralling as Romeo Juliet , Tristan and Isolde
Orpheus and Eurydice, Pyramus and Thisbe
The journey of love between us, kiss of life and death
Such is love, reincarnated spanning a thousand years.
