Eternity

The river flows
as the bold cock crows
twice.
Peace befalls
as red bird calls
thrice.
Oceans blue
cleanse, polish, and soothe
twice.
Pain drifts away
as the gold leaves sway
thrice.
Eternity must seep
through my grandmother's sweet
advice.
