Alone at night, I feel you calling to me
Sneak out the side door, just maybe
My heart races, is it safe yet?
Everyone is asleep, I’d bet.

Leaning against the wall in the dark
No one there to remark
On my dirty deed
Of course I’ll succeed.

Your toxins can kill
But I’m attached to the thrill
If only they knew
We might finally be through

Inhale and enjoy it
I know I mustn’t quit
For that would be the end
Of my only true friend

How long before I’m dead
I should really quit instead
