Euphoria

Hands intertwined together like the fibers of a rope
As we lolled on the soft blades of chartreuse grass
Reminiscing memories through a kaleidoscope
With the relentless wind fluttering your sundress.
When your vermillion lips lift into a radiant smile,
I question reality and ask if it’s all a dream --
A yellow mirage that follows me like a shadow
Wrapping ecstasy swiftly into a present for me.
We are a walking masterpiece by Michelangelo,
Perfectly sculpted with utmost precision,
Chiseled smoothly to become a paragon of art.
Everywhere we go, I feel like I’m living in a utopia,
Every part of me feeling a rush of euphoria.
