Death is not to be approached with trepidation
It is the price of that single treasure
Given when entering this world
The gift of life itself

Granting of that impermanent prize
Comes with expectancy of fullest use
To be celebrated with love and passion
While understanding its evanescence

Death is not an amercement
Rather it acknowledges bestowal of life
Given, but not without price
For something of no price is worthless

Death reaffirms the value of life
It is not the termination of the gift
It is a celebration of this allotment
And attestation of our human existence
