Ever changing

Always changing always the same,
burnt by an unlit flame,
covered by a bloodied stain,
drowning in the driest rain.

Deserts turn into sea's,
the warmest climates start to freeze,
human pleasures and human sleaze,
all disappear with the last of the trees.

Mother nature born and died,
our deepest sins we tried to hide,
the human species lied and lied,
because of us our planet died.

Always changing always the same,
burnt by an unlit flame,
drowned by a bloodied stain,
our planet covered in a rusted chain.
