Every moment begins.
Full of anger, love, joy or grief
Some of them are.
Yet, they might as well be brief.
Though lost down the memory lane
They may be,
These mortal moments
Will always be there for me.
For all the sadness that they carry,
Happiness is what they bring.
For all the annoyance that could tarry,
Excitement still exists.
In the darkness of the night,
They show me my light.
A light that never flickers off,
A light that gives hope,
A light that guides me home.
