Eye, Soul, You

I didn't intend to meet your eyes,
To be crushed slowly into the ground.
But under that strong and blazing blue,
I see a picture....eye, soul, you.
An eye full of wondering,
And asking in it's glance.
That makes me shudder and pull back
As I secretly long to advance.
Your soul begins to creak it's door,
As you speak about the past.
With passion you recall the time,
That we thought was our last.
And in a moment all of you,
And all of me is here.
We can't escape who we are,
Or what we truly feel.
And so it happens naturally,
What can I possibly do?
Love untangled in one stare.
When I...see... you.
