Eyeliner

Bounce back to the beat of falling upon the track
She wipes the tears for she's never looking back
Blonde hair, a little make-up and her oiled skin
The cuts from his hands begin to look deeply thin

She hides her face in the powdered dust
Only to watch his gain as she falls to rust
Looking good in the color of a broken skin
The quench for revenge erupts a deadly sin

Innocence cut from the open road
A sequined dove thrown into the mode
So cover your hair and flashing eyes
Center stage came forth the stunt-man dies

Kitchen knives, broken nails and shining glass
A fever torn, abused, locked with an open clasp
Tough love, a simple drug that you have to suffer with
Kill the man, set him free from this simple myth

Blood spilled from the stab that caught his back
Run murder blonde for your deed is set to lack
Free from the monster the brutal act of men
Eyeliner fixes the smile as her life begins
