Eyes of the Opposite

In her eyes I fell
A dark , mysterious well
Gravity faded
And there I waited
For wasn't just a spell

Her hair as light as dark
And her smile like angels Hark

In his eyes I stayed
A home for my parade
I one man stand
Now two man band
Forever there we laid

His eyelids filled with music
And his wrists were slit with bruises

In their eyes 'twas plain
Their love was but a game
Both grossly misleading
Attraction depleting
Opposites never the same

For opposites never attract
Which may be the truth of the fact
And without one to hold
Both their hearts fold
Hoping each other'd come back
